Over the past year, we have failed to keep up with demand. We received more orders than we could handle. As a result, many of you waited - or are still waiting - far too long to receive your orders. That is unacceptable. There is no excuse and we deeply apologize. Major changes need to be made. That starts today.
Today we are a new Kendal & Hyde.
We have completely replaced our entire business infrastructure, from supply chain to production, distribution, customer service… everything.
The only thing that hasn’t changed is Kendal. Kendal’s designs and vision for leather hardgoods is the lifeblood of Kendal & Hyde. Kendal will continue to oversee all aspects of product design and quality assurance. To you, our customers, this means you can continue expect the same great products from us, but now delivered on time.
This was a major undertaking and could only be accomplished by transferring ownership to new partners that are experts in solving the production and e-commerce issues that have plagued us from the beginning. While it has only been a few short weeks of working together, we are thrilled with the progress we’ve made. We finally have the production capabilities to keep up with demand.
Our #1 priority is to fulfill all outstanding orders ASAP.
If you are currently waiting on an order, you will receive another email from us shortly with a status update and expected delivery. We will also be regularly posting production updates to our website as we make our way through all of the backorders. If you have contacted customer service us over the last several weeks during this transition period, you can also expect a response from us very shortly as well. We also no longer allow backorders on our website. If it is available on our website, that means we have it in stock.
